About the Institute

The B'nai B'rith Institute of Judaism in North Carolina provides an opportunity for the

attendee to confront,  explore, and clarify questions about Judaism and Jewish life, in an

individual, national, and global context.  This year, because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Institute will be held virtually as Wildacres Online.

We will miss the ambiance of the Wildacres Retreat, but some aspects will be the same:  all lectures will be given as planned, as well as the "patio" discussions with the speakers.  We will have evening musical entertainment and afternoon exercise sessions.

This year the Institute is five days instead of the usual two-and-a half.  There are some innovations planned:  a free "lunch and chat" session for all attendees, and small breakout groups for discussions on pertinent issues.
