Wildacres is three miles west of the Little Switzerland Post Office.

Nearest towns are Spruce Pine and Marion, North Carolina.

 

FROM EAST OR WEST I-40

Use exit 86 (to MARION) and continue to US 221 North into Marion.  From Marion take NC 226 North to NC 226-A (about nine miles).  Turn left into NC 226-A and proceed seven miles until you see the WILDACRES sign on your left.  Turn into the unpaved road and drive to WILDACRES.

FROM THE BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY

Turn off the Parkway between milepost 336 and 337 at the sign GOOCH GAP.  Drive down the unpaved road to WILDACRES.

At the WILDACRES retreat, all roads are paved.
